The Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of SHESTCO, Hon. Engr. Magaji Da’u Aliyu, convened his first management meeting with senior staff of the Agency as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative coordination and reinforce operational standards across the institution.

The meeting, which brought together members of the Agency’s management team and key departmental representatives, provided an opportunity for the new Director-General to outline his expectations for professionalism, discipline, and improved service delivery within the Complex.

During the session, Hon. Engr. Magaji Da’u Aliyu emphasized the importance of maintaining a professional working environment that reflects the status of SHESTCO as a leading national research and technology institution. He reminded staff of the need to strictly adhere to established office protocols, particularly with respect to dress code and workplace identification.

The DG/CEO specifically directed that all staff must wear their official identity cards at all times while within the office premises. According to him, proper identification not only enhances institutional orderliness but also strengthens security within the Complex.

He further stressed that discipline, professionalism, and accountability are critical elements for repositioning the Agency to effectively deliver on its mandate in science, technology, and innovation. The meeting also served as an avenue for management members to share perspectives on ongoing activities and discuss strategies for improving operational efficiency across departments.

Participants at the meeting expressed their readiness to support the Director-General’s vision for strengthening institutional performance and advancing the role of SHESTCO in national technological development.
