Hon. (Engr.) Magaji Da'u Aliyu, PhD, mni serves as the Director-General & Chief Executive Officer of Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO). As a veteran engineer, politician, and public administrator, he has had more than thirty years' experience in leadership in the areas of engineering, public policy, science and technology, and national development.   Previously, he was the Member of the House of Representatives representing Birnin Kudu/Buji Federal Constituency of Jigawa State in the 8th and 9th National Assemblies. He was the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Power where he worked to effect changes in the energy and infrastructure sector of Nigeria.   Hon. Magaji is a PhD holder in Sustainable Development; he graduated from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru and received the esteemed Membership of the National Institute (mni); he is also a professional engineer. As DG/CEO of SHESTCO, he is dedicated to scientific research, technological innovations, commercialization of research products and indigenous technology development.
