HON. MAGAJI DA’U ALIYU, PhD, mni, – ROUND PEG IN ROUND HOLE POLITICAL LEADER AND TECHNOCRAT” Says TINUBU SUPPORT GROUP (TSG).
The Director-General of Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), Hon. Engr. Magaji Da’u Aliyu, described as a Round Peg in Round Hole Technocrat, has pledged to achieve the corporate mission and vision of Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), focusing on strengthening research and innovation, human capital development, partnerships, and good governance.
He made this emphatic pledge when key leaders of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) paid him a courtesy and congratulatory visit on his current appointment as the Director General of the Complex.
“We will promote demand-driven research addressing Nigeria’s pressing challenges in areas like agriculture, health, energy, and digital technology,” Aliyu stated. He emphasized SHESTCO’s strategic position in Nigeria’s national development architecture, driving innovation, economic diversification, and sustainable development.
Hon. Magaji Da’u Aliyu also enjoined Members of the Group, interested in Farming to explore the opportunity of using the vast 419 hectares of arable land of SHESTCO for Commercial Agriculture.
Regarding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election, Hon. Magaji Da’u Aliyu expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment, highlighting the President’s commitment to science, technology, and innovation.
The Director-General of Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr. Kingsley Udeh, SAN for recognizing SHESTCO as a hub of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI), driving national growth and development.
“We appreciate the government’s commitment to leveraging science and technology for national development. SHESTCO is poised to contribute to Nigeria’s economic diversification, job creation, and sustainable growth. We thank President Tinubu and the Minister for their visionary leadership and support.”
In his remarks, the National Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Dr. Umar Tanko Yakassai, stated “On behalf of the Tinubu Support Group, I extend heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Engr. Magaji Da’u Aliyu on his appointment as Director-General of Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO).
